Booking and Reservations
Booking Confirmation:
Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a valid credit card or deposit payment.
A confirmation email will be sent once the booking is completed.
Check-In and Check-Out:
Check-in time is 2:00 PM. Early check-in is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Payment Policy:
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, and online bank transfers.
Identification:
Valid government-issued identification is required at check-in.
For international guests, a valid passport and visa are required.
Cancellations and Modifications

The Monkey Tail Resort Cancellation Policy
At The Monkey Tail Resort, we understand that plans can change. To ensure a smooth and fair process for all our guests, we have established the following cancellation policy:
Standard Booking Cancellations
30 Days or More Before Check-In:
Guests can cancel their reservation with no penalty.
A full refund of the deposit will be provided.
15 to 29 Days Before Check-In:
Guests can cancel their reservation with a 50% penalty of the total booking amount.
50% of the deposit will be refunded.
14 Days or Less Before Check-In:
Cancellations made within 14 days of the check-in date will incur a 100% penalty of the total booking amount.
No refund will be provided.
Peak Season and Holiday Period Cancellations
45 Days or More Before Check-In:
Guests can cancel their reservation with no penalty.
A full refund of the deposit will be provided.
30 to 44 Days Before Check-In:
Guests can cancel their reservation with a 50% penalty of the total booking amount.
50% of the deposit will be refunded.
29 Days or Less Before Check-In:
Cancellations made within 29 days of the check-in date will incur a 100% penalty of the total booking amount.
No refund will be provided.
No-Shows and Early Departures
No-Shows:
Guests who do not arrive on the scheduled check-in date will be charged 100% of the total booking amount.
No refund will be provided.
Early Departures:
Guests who check out before their scheduled departure date will be charged for the full length of the stay as originally booked.
No partial refunds will be provided.
Changes to Reservations
Date Changes:
Date changes are subject to availability and must be requested at least 30 days in advance for standard bookings and 45 days in advance for peak season bookings.
Changes requested within 30 days (or 45 days for peak season) will be treated as cancellations and subject to the above cancellation penalties.
Name Changes:
Name changes on the booking are allowed without penalty, but must be requested at least 48 hours before check-in.
Refund Process
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 14 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.
Special Circumstances
In the event of natural disasters, government travel restrictions, or other extraordinary circumstances, The Monkey Tail Resort will review cancellation policies on a case-by-case basis.

Perfect place to stay while visiting yamunotri dham. We stayed in cottage which was big and clean. Only area they need to improve on is food. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Location is great. They have swiss tents as well. Overall a beautiful property with great views.
Our experience the best in Barkot for Yamunotri Darshan. Location little outside main town calm quite with Monkey tail peak visible clearly . Rooms big neat and clean, with clean bed sheets what we look for.Service very good with all staffs and food although veg was too good. Would definitely recommend to stay here. 👌

What a wonderful place to stay for the trek to Yamunotri. The hotel cottage was where i stayed.... # 108. It was clean and quiet. The hotel is on the Yamuna River and the surroundings are beautiful.Breakfast has its own building and was a part of our package. The service was excellent. Great place for a quiet romantic getaway. The Manager, Snehil, went out 9f his way to make our stay comfortable. He was always available for a chat and advise what to do and where to go. The place is very scenic as it overlooks the river. Rooms are nice, nothing luxurious but comfortable .
